I couldn't see, I couldn't hear
cause of the great veil over my eyes
Darkness creeping all around me, destroying everything in my sight
And, I stood helpless like a child
Oh! All the world's changing around me
The goodness of mankind lost in the sea.
Hope still shines, as a speckle somewhere out of reach
the Holocaust darkening it, making it out of sight

Now, the veil gets darker
I cant see what I write
Still the words came out in darkness
waiting for the light

Where is the light that had once
shone brightly in my mind
Where is the goodness that filled
the humankind

Walking through the streets I saw only fear
looming heavily on every human heart,
whose hopes have been darkened by the great veil of
LIFE
